The first Funeral Home Harris Gleeton inc. was founded in 1987. Thereafter, in 1996, Mr. Harris Gleeton, owner, joined with Ms. Doris Langlois to become a shareholder of Funeral Homes Henri Thibodeau in New-Richmond. For Mr. Gleeton, this acquisition is not the last, because in 1999, he became owner of Funeral Homes Valère Fortin in Gaspé.
In june 2004, ambition of the Gleeton family came to a stop, when Mike (son et brother of owners) is deceased tragically in a car accident.
Three years later, in december 2006, Mr. Harris Gleeton and his son Dan acquired the Funeral Homes JF Fortin and Sons in Chandler. An other dream is then realised for them. But this is not all, because in 2008, another challenge is before them when they acquire the Funeral Homes Bissonette and Brothers in Rimouski.
With all those entreprises, Mr. Harris and Dan Gleeton count over 100 employees, full or part time.
Offering not only a diversity of services, Harris Gleeton inc. can count on its own factory of Tombstones, thus fullfilling its goal of offering all the services under the same roof.
