My sincere sympathy to all of Bill's family. My father Lance Ross fought in the Battle of Hong Kong with Bill during the Second World War and were taken as POW's for nearly 4 years. I will always remember him as a hero who gave so much so that we may all have the freedom which we enjoy today. Rest in peace Bill. We will never forget!

I would like to take this time to offer our deepest sympathies from all my family to each and everyone of Mr. Bill's family. He was a great and honorable man and was loved by all who knew him. Growing up he was a big part of my family and I always considered him Gramps to me.
Due to the grippe I have, I may not be able to attend the services, but that doesnt mean my heart is not there with you all.
Love you Gramps, rest in peace and continue watching us from above.

Our family link goes back to the 50's and the support your parents gave my father as he started the Pentecostal Church in Gaspé. My personal link with you father is as a Canadian Forces veteran and the stories that we shared. Your father was a hard-working man with a deep sense of duty. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as the community celebrates his life at the service this afternoon. May he rest in peace!
