My sincere sympathy Sheila, Shawn, Melissa & family. He was such a wonderful man, always smiling & joking around.

To Shawn, Melissa, Shiela and family:

From a very young age, Claudie was a fixture in my life. Starting with visits with my Dad (Bud) to your home on Christmas mornings when you were little (and I, a bit less so) to deliver presents and share in your giddy excitement - to my first job delivering groceries to Tracadie - Claudie was always there - with a grin, a joke and always a compliment or kind words. From my wedding night, when he quietly prepared Tracadie for my guests and I - to the deaths and funerals for both my parents where he gently consoled me. I was always taken aback by how much he looked like my dad. Those dark Robertson genes were so strong.

Shawn and Melissa - your dad was the best kind of man - but I'm sure you know that. And while I haven't seen him in a few years - I took comfort knowing he was there, and I smiled when I thought of him often.

I am so sorry to hear of my cousin, Claude's, death. I remember him as a kind, wise, thoughtful gentleman with a lovely sense of humour and a beautiful singing voice! He was always an active member of the church where I attended when I was at "home" and I always appreciated the affection he showed for my father and mother. The community will surely miss his quiet presence! Sending my condolences to his family and to all those who knew him. Wish I could be there to extend my sympathy and hugs to all those who were an important part of his life!
