Passed away at the CSSS Côte-de-Gaspé, Mgr. Ross on July 4, 2018 at the age of 96 years, Mr. Howard Gallichan, husband of Mrs. Rowena Roberts from Sandy Beach (Gaspé).

Mr. Howard Gallichan leaves behind six sons, five daughters, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, one sister (Elma), many in-laws, nephews, nieces and friends.

The Valère Fortin Funeral Home, located at 86 Jacques-Cartier Street in Gaspé, has been entrusted with organizing the above-mentioned services.

I am very sorry to hear of Mr. Howard's passing. I always loved visiting both him and Mrs. Rowena in Gaspe every year for nearly 20 years. I remember collecting eggs from the chickens, feeding the pigs and of course, helping him pick potatoes for dinner. He felt like a grandfather to me in those moments and I will never forget him.
