We are sad to have lost such an important part of our community. Flora was such a strong supporter of our community groups and activities, especially the Legion and the Mountain View Golden Age Club. Our deepest sympathies to Marlee and Gary and also Lonzo. Flora will be missed !

Marlee & Gary I’m so sorry to hear of your loss my heart is with you during this very difficult time. I’ll always remember our trips to Barachois as ‘down home’ and aunt ‘Florida’ was at the centre of it all welcoming extended family anytime making us all feel like it was our home too. I remember raiding the ice cream freezer at the store and making mud pies with her baking dishes. She is the last of her generation but her memories live on.

We were very sad to hear about your Mom’s/ Grandmother’s (Flora’s) passing.
It’s very sad to lose a loved one at any time…but hopefully you can take some comfort in knowing that she lived a good long life and was an important part of our little community.
