It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Wilma Syvret, aged 92, at CHSLD Monseigneur-Ross in Gaspé on December 17, 2025. Mrs. Syvret of Saint-Georges-de-Malbaie was the spouse of Mr. John Touzel and the daughter of the late Mrs. Iza Cadoret and the late Mr. Alvin Syvret.
A commemorative ceremony will take place at St-Peter's Church of Malbay, on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at 10 am.
Mrs. Syvret leaves to mourn her husband John,
their daughter Kim (Dan Crowley),
her sisters Yetta Dion Syvret and Marion Hotton Syvret,
her sisters-in-law Bessie Touzel and Janice Boyle Touzel,
many nephews, nieces and several other relatives and friends.
She has gone to join her brothers and sisters who preceded her, Keith, Ira, Una, Shirley, Ena, Edwin and Irene.
The family wishes to thank the nursing staff and visiting volunteers of the CHSLD Monseigneur-Ross and the staff at Foyer Notre-Dame for all the excellent care provided to Mrs. Syvret.
In lieu of flowers, any expression of sympathy may be made by donation, in memory of Mrs. Syvret to Société Alzheimer Gaspésie—Îles-de-la-Madeleine (SAGÎM).
