Philip E. Girard
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father at the age of 90 years and 2 months on June 23, 2021 at the Hôtel-Dieu Hospital in Gaspé.
Philip passed away peacefully surrounded by his loves ones.
He was predeceaded by wife Ruby, son Joseph, daughter-in-law Wanda and grandson.
He leaves to mourn his children: Junior (Willa), Debra (Ambrose), Joann (Patrick) and John;
13 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson,
his brother Maurice;
nieces and nephews and many friends.
He lived a long healthy and happy life.
The funeral will be held at St-Patrick's Church on July 2, 2021 at 2:30 p.m.
The family would like to thank the staff on the 5th floor of the hospital and the special staff at the Manoir St-Augustin in Gaspé for their kindness.
A special thank you to his niece Elizabeth for the many nights she spent at the hospital with his daughters.
