It is with great sadness and heavy heart that we announce the passing of Van Roberts at Gaspe hospital. With his daughter and family by his side he entered peacefully into rest on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at the age of 74.
Predeceased by his parents Russell Roberts and Leota Adams and daughter Lillian Roberts.
Leaving behind his children Tony (Melanie), David (Danielle), Barbara (Bobby) and his grandchildren Makayla, Emma, Jonah, Aidan, Nathan, Hannah; lifelong friend Gloria. He will be missed by many other relatives and friends. Never to be forgotten.
A special thank you to all doctors on the 7th floor of Gaspé hospital who cared for him.
Visitation will be held at the Valère Fortin Funeral home in Gaspe on Saturday, May 8, 2021 from 1 pm to 4 pm. Prayer in evening from 6 pm to 9 pm. Sunday 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. A funeral will take place at a later date when family can come home.
Donations can be made to the Bathurst Animal Shelter or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
