It is with a great sadness that we announce the passing of Mabel LeBuffe which occurred at Maria Hospital on Tuesday, November 26th, 2024 at the age of 79 years old.
Predeceased by her parents Edward LeBuffe and Ruby Renouf, her partner Wesley Flowers and her sisters Shirley and Betty Cormier.
She leaves behind:
her beloved children Louise (Lucien), Elaine (Michel), Richard (Isabelle) and Melanie (Samuel);
Her grandchildren Melissa, Kristopher, Rebecca, Nicholas, Kayla, Lexes, Sarah-Jeanne, Nathan, Riley, Zachary, Charlotte and Rose;
Her great-grandchildren Sophia and Jayden;
Her brothers Ivan and Robert;
Her sisters Carol and Donna;
Her nieces and nephews and other family members and friends.
She will be put at rest at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Mabel LeBuffe to the future Home of palliative care Baie-des-Chaleurs (Future Maison de soins palliatifs de la Baie-des Chaleurs).
The family wishes to thank the staff at Maria Hospital, the nurses and support staff from the CLSC as well as Dr Carignan and Dr Prévost.
Mabel will be greatly missed by all who had the chance of knowing her. May she rest in peace.

I remember summers in New Richmond with family and Aunt Mabel's kindness and welcome home. Over the years her pickles were enjoyed often at family dinners. Her hugs and thoughtfulness were heartfelt and I will miss her.
