Ella Hotton

It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Ella Hotton, aged 79, at the Gaspé hospital on November 20, 2025. Mrs. Hotton, of Belle Anse, was the spouse of the late Mr. Blake Touzel and the daughter of the late Mrs. Agnes Element and the late Mr. Gerald Hotton.

The family will receive condolences at St-Peter’s Church of Barachois, on Friday, November 28, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. A commemorative ceremony will take place at the same location at 11:00 a.m.

Mrs. Hotton leaves to mourn
her son Adam Touzel (Cheryl),
her grandchildren Courtney, Madison and Brooke,
her brothers and sisters Joan (Amby), late Homer (Ruby), Leonard (Bina), late Carol (Brian), late Joyce (Paul),
many nephews, nieces and several other relatives and friends.

The family would like to thank the amazing home care workers and the staff at the Gaspé hospital for their loving care of "Mrs. Hotton".

In lieu of flowers, any expression of sympathy may be made by donation, in memory of Mrs. Hotton, to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Professional services were entrusted to Valère Fortin Funeral Home, a subsidiary of the HG Division network certified Distinction by the Corporation of thanatologists of Quebec and by the Bureau de Normalisation du Québec.
