It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Sharon Bechervaise, wife of Roy Jean at the CISSS Gaspé on January 8th, 2026 at the age of 75 years and 1 month.
She leaves to mourn her loving husband Roy Jean, her daughters Jennifer and Melanie, her Clark boys Rodney and Paul, her adored grandchildren Dylan (Émilie), Marc-Olivier (Kassandra) and Taylor as well as her beloved great-grandchildren Jaxon, Layla and baby boy who will arrive in the spring, her sister Gail (Benoit), many nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law.
She has been reunited in heaven with her parents Harold and Sarah and her sister Diana.
The family will receive condolences at St-James Church in Wakeham on Saturday, January 17th at 12:00. Her funeral will follow at 2:00.
The family would like to thank the personnel of the 7th floor, as well as the impeccable care she received from the home care staff. A special thank you to Lynnette McGregor for all the support during her journey and Dr Marie Ducharme for taking such good care of her over the years.
All marks of affection can be offered by donations to the Gaspé Cancer Foundation.
