It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Ms Ann Lucas, aged 60, at Gaspé hospital, on February 20th 2026.
Ms Lucas was the daughter of Cyril Lucas and Elsie Girard.
Ann will be missed for her kind hearted gentle personality. She was always ready for big hugs.
Ann loved puzzles, card games, games on her tablet, old tv shows and all our family pets.
The funeral will take place at a later date, at the family's local church.
Ms Ann Lucas leaves to mourn:
her father Cyril Lucas, mother Elsie Girard,
her sisters and brothers ; Sharon, Richard (Darlene), Helen (Placide), Louise (Steven) & Ansel,
nieces and nephews, Michael, Connie, Monica, Jessica, Jillian, Jenelle, Shania , Anthony, Devin and Cole,
great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
She was predeceased by her brother in law Jerry, sister in law Wendy and her niece Sarah.
The family wishes to thank the wonderful nurses of Gaspé hospital, mostly the 7th floor staff, as well as the home care workers from the CLSC.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made, in memory of Ann, to the Gaspé hospital Foundation.

I was surprised to hear of her passing, I was one of the students in the classroom, with my sister Daisy, because of our hearing imapiremt as some of you remember i'm sure, Ann was a sweet and kind person, so i want to offer my deepest condolences to all of her family, rest in peace Ann🕊️you will never be forgotten.
