In Loving Memory of
Cecil Alvin Leggo
September 3, 1926 - December 1, 2017
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Cecil Leggo on December 1, 2017 at Hotel Dieu Hospital in Gaspé.
Cecil was born in a family of five and is predeceased by his parents Elvin and Alma (nee Roberts), brothers Wesley (Grace), Embert, and Calmus, and sister Ina (Denzil DeVouge).
He joins his beloved wife Gladys (nee Ellement) (2001), his darling daughter Sheila (January 2017) and son-in-law Victor Briand (2010). Loving father of Roger (Bernadette), Harry (Cheryl), Sharon (Ozzie), Rodney (Glory), Rhonda (Don), Ivan and Alvin (Lisa). His proud legacy goes on with eleven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
He will also be fondly remembered and greatly missed by his special friend Phyllis Morris, his sisters and brothers-in-law and his many nieces and nephews.
Visitation and Funeral will be held at St. Patrick’s church in Douglastown. Visitation is Tuesday, Dec. 5th, 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm, and Wednesday Dec. 6th, 9:30 to 10:30 am just before the funeral at 11 am.
