Bessie Miller Patterson passed away peacefully at the Hotel Dieu Hospital in Gaspe on July 23 at the age of 98. Born on Sept. 5, 1917, she was the daughter of Frederick Miller and Helena Stewart. She lived her entire life in Sunny Bank, near Gaspe.
Bessie was predeceased by her husband, Ralph, her son, Morris, grand-daughter, Sandy, and son-in-law, Gerry Phillips. She will be sadly missed by; Bruce (Shirley Phillips) Andy (Debbie Carmichael); Donna Phillips, daughter-in-law, Thelma McAfee Patterson, as well as 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive condolences at the Résidence Funéraire Valère Fortin Inc.,located at 86 Jacques Cartier St.,in Gaspé on Monday July 25 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.and before the funeral on Tuesday July 26 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
The funeral will be at the Funeral Home, at 2 PM on Tuesday, followed by burial at St. Andrew's Cemetery in York.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Hotel Dieu Hospital Foundation or St. Andrew's Cemetery Fund in York
