It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Gerard “Jerry” Syvret, aged 67, at home, surrounded by his loved ones, on October 9th, 2025. Mr. Syvret, from Belle-Anse, was the son of the late Mrs. Joan Element and the late Mr. Ralph Syvret.
In order to respect Mr. Syvret's last wishes, there will be no funeral service.
Mr. Syvret is predeceased by his brother Paul.
Mr. Gerard Syvret leaves to mourn:
his spouse Sharon Lucas,
his son Michael (Chelsey),
his daughters Connie (Donald) and Monica,
his grandchildren Cheyenne, Katrina and Torrick,
his brothers Lorne (Kim), Roderick and Lindsay,
his sisters Sharon (Guy), Carla (Sylvain) and Noreen (Darryl),
his sister-in-law Susan,
nephews, nieces and many other family members and friends.
The family wishes to thank the nurses of the home care of Gaspé for the excellent care provided to Gerard.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made, in memory of Mr. Syvret, to the Gaspé Cancer Foundation.
Professional services were entrusted to Salon Funéraire Valère Fortin, a subsidiary of the HG Division network certified Distinction by the Corporation of thanatologists of Quebec and by the Bureau de Normalization du Québec.
The management and staff of HG Division offer their most sincere condolences to the family and thank them for their trust.
